ITINERARY

Friday, June 13            Barbados to London

Depart Barbados by Virgin Atlantic (VS 036) at 7:25pm, arriving London/Gatwick  Airport at 8:20am  (14 June).

Saturday, June 14       London to Rome

Transfer to connecting flight (BA 2540), which departs at 2:00pm and arrives (Fiumicino Airport) Rome at 11:35 am. Clear Immigration and Customs and collect your bags.  You will be met outside baggage claim by our tour operator / bus driver, who will transport you to your Hotel - Radisson SAS ES (or a similar 5 star property).

Sunday, June 15        Transfer to Civitavecchia Port

Breakfast.  Checkout of hotel at 12:00 noon and depart by private coach at 12:30pm for Civitavecchia Port for your 12-night Greece Eastern Mediterranean aboard Royal Caribbean’s LEGEND OF THE SEAS.

CRUISE ITINERARY

Upon arrival in Rome you will be met by our tour representative/driver who will take you on a 5-hour tour with stops at the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Navona Square, St. Peter’s Basilica to mention a few. (see Tour Highlights over leaf)

After this exciting tour you will be transferred to the Airport around 4:00pm to check in for your British Airways flight (BA 557), departing at 6:40pm and arriving London /  Heathrow Airport at 8:25pm.  Clear Immigration and Customs, collect your bags and transfer by private Coach for the one-hour drive to Gatwick Airport for an overnight stay at The Sofitel London Gatwick (or a similar 4 star property)

After breakfast depart hotel at 7:00am for the short walk to the North Terminal and your departure on (VS 029) at 10:00am, arriving Barbados at 1:45pm.

Passing along side Castel S. Angelo your coach will take you to the Basilica of St. Peter (visit inside, except when there are religious celebrations), where you can admire one of Michelangelo’s magnificent works of art - La Pieta.

Arriving at Piazza Venezia you can admire the impressive monument dedicated to King Victor Emanuel II and the unknown soldier.

Continue on foot to the famous Piazza del Campidoglio  designed by Michelangelo, from where you will have a  fantastic view of the Roman Forum. Your coach will then continue to view the Circus Maximus and the Pyramid of Caius Cestius before arriving at the Basilica of St. Paul, the largest patriarchal Basilica in Rome after St. Pater’s.  Your guide will take you inside the Basilicia which was built over the burial place of the Apostle of the Gentiles.

LUNCH - Indulge in an authentic Italian lunch (drinks not included) at a restaurant nearby Stazione Termini or near the Vatican.

• A non-refundable deposit of BD$1000.00 is required by 15 September 2007 to confirm space.

• A second deposit of BDS$1500.00 by 29 Nov. 2007.

• A third payment of BDS$2000.00 by 31 Jan. 2008.

• Final payment is due on or before 31 March  2008.

• Cancellations made after 2nd deposit will be subject to a cancellation penalty  of BDS$550.00 per person.

• Cancellations made after  final payment will be subject to a loss of BDS$1500.00 per person and any other penalties imposed by the Cruise line, Airline, Hotels and Tour Operators.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:

Travel Insurance is highly recommended.

CURRENCY:

US Dollars, Euro, Travelers Cheques or major credit cards can be used.

PASSPORTS:

Passport must not expire before 31 December 2008.

A multiple-Entry Schengen Visa is required for travel to ITALY & GREECE and can be applied for through the  Italian Consulate in Barbados.  Visas are also required for travel to TURKEY, CYPRUS & EGYPT. A Travel Medical Insurance Policy with a minimum of BD$90,000 medical insurance is one of the requirements in obtaining all these Visas.

Travel House is happy to assist you in filling in the relevant Visa Forms to obtain all Visas.  Of course you can appreciate that there is a cost for the Visas as well as courier fees.
